岗位职责和要求：
Scope of Role:

To employ a new Credit Manager to be based in Guangzhou to replace an existing Credit Manager based in Guangzhou who will be transferred to WB Credit

Key Responsibilities/Challenges:

-Perform credit evaluation in compliance with credit policies & product programs and within the standard turnaround time
-Credit analysis – including quantitative analysis and qualitative evaluation, of specific financing product through designated credit underwriting procedures
-Be familiar with credit risk policy and related in-country Product Development Documents
-Perform regular credit review on existing accounts
-Identify key risk factors of prospect borrower and set covenants to mitigate risks
-Identify potential weak accounts and surface to management for inclusion in Early Alert discussion.
-Provide credit training to Relationship Managers on credit policies, product programs and other credit related issues on periodic basis.
-Monitor regulatory changes as well as external economic environment developments, and provide feedback to management on the potential impact on business which may require fine tuning of credit policy and procedures
-Report latest local market practice to management to keep the bank’s competitiveness
-Ensure proper compliance of process and passing of SME Credit audits
-Comply with the Money Laundering Prevention Procedures and be alert at all times to unusual or possibly suspicious customer activity, and should report any suspicious activity to the respective Unit Money Laundering Prevention Officer and line manager as well as directly to the Country MLPO in urgent or exceptional circumstances.

Selection Criteria:

-Bachelor &/or Master Degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Banking. Professional Accounting qualification is a strong plus
-Solid relevant experience in local financial industry, with a good experience as a Relationship Manager Commercial Banking, good understanding as a Credit Approval for Commercial Banking and relevant experience in Credit Recovery/Audit/Fraud Investigation function is a strong plus.
-Thorough understanding of Bank operations, credit policies, familiar with local legal and compliance policy
-Must possess strong analytical skills in both numerical and non numerical subject matter.
-Hard working, enthusiastic, dedicated, goal oriented, independent minded,
-Must possess strong team spirit as a member of the Credit Team
-Has a good command of written/oral English and Mandarin
-Good PC skills in particular MS Word / Excel / PowerPoint/ Outlook.
