Position:China Purchasing Manager
Directly Report to:General Manager China
Job Location:Foshan


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead contractual negotiations with major suppliers of materials, services and equipment;
- Contribute to the formulation of the organization’s strategic objectives from a purchasing perspective;
- Prepare reports for senior management on the purchasing function’s performance;
- Play a major role in the development and implementation of quality control procedures to be complied with by suppliers;
- Develop pan-China a purchasing system that encompasses Foshan and Suzhou operations and management;
- Establish and maintain close working relationships with major suppliers at senior level to gain an in depth knowledge of their business;
- Establish contingency plans in the event of failure of supplies of essential materials;
- Manage a team of purchasing specialists and ensure that are fully briefed on all issues that impact on the purchasing activity from an operational perspective;
- Pro-active response to raw material prices to ensure price competitiveness within market;
- Sourcing RMS and be Penta leading buyer for the company.


REQUIREMENTS:

- University degree or above with majored in business management or related;
- Chemical industry experience is preferred;
- 3+ years’ in a leadership role and management experience in a multinational manufacturing company;
- Apart from fluent national language, fluency in English is a must;
- Honest and ethical to handle business;
- Mature, confident, responsible, proactive and intelligent;
- Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, negotiations and influencing skills;
- Solid leadership and decision-making skills, and also be a team player;
- Flexibility and a can do attitude is a must. Creative and multi tasking capabilities;
- A proven track record of leadership and performance and proven capabilities in problem solving and action taken;
- Be able to work with challenging tasks.
