岗位职责和要求：
JOB SUMMARY: -Primary responsibility is to execute on time and on budget delivery of production orders by directing suppliers and internal resources. Assist in definition of project budgets, time lines and quality expectations throughout the development process. Consult with design and engineering personnel to define production and aesthetic standards for displays. Determine vendor participation based on supplier’s core competencies, ability to meet deadlines and cost parameters. Oversee timely creation of prototypes and provide cost effective, quality production of display fixtures in timeframes dictated in project parameters.



REQUIRED SKILLS, ABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS: -

College degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, General or Structural) or Manufacturing Technology or equivalent work experience
3-5 years project management experience in POP industry –
Detailed understanding of multiple manufacturing processes (injection molding, extruding, fabrication and thermoforming of plastics and wood and steel fabrication)
Ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) software
An understanding of GANTT Charts and familiarity with Microsoft Project software
Intuitive ability to understand 3-D color renderings and interpret into mechanical assembly
Familiarity with MRP/ERP scheduling
Good written and verbal communication skills to express ideas and convey information to sales, engineering, design, plant and vendor personnel
Must possess knowledge of standard quality assurance practices
Must be well organized and detail oriented and possess good time management skills

Offer counsel in development of new projects
Research new materials and manufacturing processes

Develop and maintain bills of material
Create requests for quote and prepare estimates
Develop, maintain, and publish critical path schedules
Participate in and oversee elements of prototype development
Place purchase orders with suppliers and ensure that all project information is accurately entered into Cormark’s data system
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers
Supply project information to assembly manager as needed
Develop quality criteria, tests, inspections, and manuals for assigned projects
Track and document production progress and coordinate production activities with assembly manager
Communicate production information to Account Managers and Account Executives
Analyze project close-outs
Attend production meetings
Coordinate daily project activities
Participate in Client Review Meetings
Consult with Engineers, Designers and Vendors to develop best solutions available to manufacture finished components
Attend Project ‘Kick-Off’ and participate in Production Release meetings
Work with Engineering to obtain production release drawings for vendors for manufacture. Provide accurate information on required timelines and quality standards
Obtain production samples for client approval and maintain samples to ensure manufacturing compliance
Maintain quality of product to Client expectation
Additional special duties as assigned by supervisor and/or company management
Maintain clean and organized work area.
