岗位职责和要求：
Responsibilities:
-Participate in system design and implementation engagements
-Understand and analyze customer requirements
-Map customer business needs to our software
-Responsible for database design, implementation and performance tuning
-Join development team to perform development work
-Perform database tuning
-Perform and review code/SQL to optimize the DB performance
-Be the lead in DB & SQL amongst the team members
-Coach other team members in DB & SQL coding

Must have

1. Expert knowledge in writing and tuning Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
2. Extensive experience in troubleshooting performance problems and Oracle tuning
3. Expert knowledge of Oracle architecture
4. Extensive experience in database design
3. Good working knowledge of Java and Oracle Java Thin Client

Nice to have

1. Experience with Websphere
2. Experience with Oracle RAC, Times Ten, Top Link
3. Experience with embedded (Java) databases
4. Experience with JDO, Java Persistence API

Qualifications:
-Bachelor or Masters degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
-Good Team work
-Must have in-depth knowledge on Oracle 9i/10g and hand on experience using SQL and Unix shell Script
-At least 6 years IT experience and 3+ years on DBA role
-Must have previous experience of database tuning on banking application
-Knowledge of Unix operating systems.
-Excellent verbal, written communication, interpersonal and presentation skill.
-With domain knowledge on banking business is a plus
-Willing to work under pressure.
