A UK based international group. Its Shenzhen operation is engaged in product assembly and component sourcing.

To lead the local management team in the control, manufacture and delivery of quality products. A strong and ambitious operation manager is required, reporting to the CEO in the UK.


<b>Operations Manager, Shenzhen (英资企业驻深圳独资厂)</b>


<u>Position Overview</u>

- To develop and stabilise a senior management team that creates a profitable and growing manufacturing operation.
- To provide leadership and direction for the factory with a common vision and goals for all employees.
- To deliver the best quality components and products to customers’ satisfaction and at the best possible cost.
- To establish an effective and flexible manufacturing capability, implementing lean business processes throughout the organisation.
- To develop and maintain a robust supplier network, adhering to the required quality standards and approvals.
- To implement and maintain a culture of mutual well-being and continuous improvement.


<u>Candidate Specifications</u>

- Degree holder (preferably in mechanical engineering or similar disciplines)
- Minimum 8 years work experience with at least 3 years in the managerial grade
- Management of external sub-contractors
- New product implementation and management of change
- Proffered back ground in assembly process both electrical and mechanical
- Experience in working with European or American companies
- Excellent communicator - English and Mandarin fluency at all business level
