岗位职责和要求：
Job purpose: to support a very rapidly expanding product portfolio, dyson is setting up a new development office in foshan. You will be joining a team of around 45 hardware and software engineers to develop electronic sub-systems, and to bring them into high volume production. In this role you will be working with both electronics and mechanical engineers to make sure the all the constraints to fit the cable looms in to the product is met.
Principal accountabilities:
-To analyse product requirements and specify electrical components in detail.
-To agree mechanical constraints with mechanical engineers
-To agree electrical constraints with electronic engineers
-To write detailed cable harness requirement and specification.
-To create mechanical and electrical loom drawings
-To advise on best routing of harnesses and electrical components within product
-To devise and oversee validation programs to ensure reliability targets are met
-To build one off prototype samples
-To liaise with suppliers to source low volume preproduction batches
-To aid in the selection of production volume suppliers
-Liaise with procurement team to ensure that parts are cost effective.
Skills knowledge & experience:
-Bachelor in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent.
-At least 2 to 3 years work experience in the related field.
-Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and effectively as a team.
-Experience on any mechanical cad software will add an advantage.
-Excellent english, both written and verbal is essential
-Loom design for high volume manufacture
-Switch selection experience: 5vdc to 240vac, 1ma to 16a
-Cables: ffc, low voltage inter pcb to mains voltage 16a
-Connectors: pcb mounted high density to high current mains voltage
-Thermal trips and circuit breakers: mains voltage up to 13a
-Ntcs: high current for motor inrush current protection
-Ability to build prototype looms
-Ability to fit prototype looms into product
-Cad (ug wiring) experience will be beneficial
-Sound electrical knowledge
